Things to do in Atlantic Beach
Atlantic Beach is a small coastal city, not a resort strip, and the things to do here are the kind you repeat: the beach, the park, the preserves, the Town Center. All of them are close enough to be ordinary.
The water
The beach at the end of Atlantic Boulevard, 2.3 miles. Hanna Park, 2.1 miles, with its own 1.5 miles of beach and a 60-acre lake for kayaking and fishing. Dutton Island Preserve, 1.6 miles, for a paddle on the marsh from the public kayak launch. And the private dock behind the property, which is a sunrise coffee more often than a fishing trip.

Eating and drinking
Atlantic Beach Town Center, 2.1 miles south at Atlantic Boulevard and East Coast Drive, is where the restaurants, coffee shops and breweries sit within a couple of blocks of each other, with the sand at the end of the street. Neptune Beach begins immediately past it. We do not list businesses here because they change; walk it on a Friday evening and you will have the current list.
Outdoors on foot
Hanna Park's hiking and mountain bike trails through the coastal hammock. Dutton Island's 9,000 feet of trails and viewing pier, open 8 a.m. to dusk. Tideviews Preserve, 1.9 miles, at the south end of town. And the community's own nature trails along the marsh, with the dog park beside them. More on the parks and trails page.
One bedrooms are 660 square feet from $1,329 a month and two bedroom, two bath homes are 880 square feet from $1,459, both with quartz counters, wood-look flooring and a full-size washer and dryer in the home. Live pricing is on the availability page.
