Atlantic Beach Town Center is 2.1 miles south of Tidewater by road, a flat bike ride. It is the local gathering spot: restaurants, coffee shops and breweries within a couple of blocks of each other, and the sand at the end of the street.
What Town Center is
The few blocks where Atlantic Boulevard meets East Coast Drive and ends at the ocean. Atlantic Beach is on the north side of the boulevard and Neptune Beach on the south, so the Town Center belongs to both. It is walkable once you are there, which is the point of it.
