Pet friendly apartments in Atlantic Beach, FL
A dog park on site, nature trails along the marsh, and two city preserves within a mile and a half. Here is the policy in full, before you have to ask.
The policy
Tidewater is pet friendly. All pets are registered and approved through an independent screening process before move-in. Approved pets are subject to a $20 per month fee per pet, plus a one-time non-refundable pet fee.
Breed and weight questions are handled in that screening rather than by a list on a website, so if you are unsure about your dog, call the leasing office at (904) 454-2030 and ask before you apply. We would rather tell you early.
On the property
- Dog park on site
- Scenic nature trails along the marsh
- Private balcony or secluded back porch on every home
- Private parking, so the last walk of the night is a short one
Close by
The trails here run along the marsh behind the property, which is the everyday walk. Past that, two City of Atlantic Beach preserves are near: Dutton Island Preserve, 1.4 miles, with 9,000 feet of nature trails, a fishing and viewing pier and a kayak launch, open 8 a.m. to dusk, and Tideviews Preserve, also 1.4 miles, on the south end of town.
Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park is 2.2 miles north, with trails through coastal hammock and 1.5 miles of its own beach. Park rules change, so check the city’s current pet rules before you go rather than taking our word for it.
The honest part
A dog park and a trail are only worth anything if the grounds are kept. That is a maintenance question more than an amenity question, and it is a fair one to put to us on a tour.
